Key Accountabilities
Developing and maintaining the .NET websites
Development of Mobile website front end using JQuery Mobile or other Mobile frameworks.
Participate in UNIT testing, and writing Unit Tests as required
Continually seek feedback from internal and external customers to contribute to website development
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Company’s products and services
On an ongoing basis, comply with the rules, requirements and principles of the Financial Services
and Markets Act relating to general insurance which are relevant to the department and role
Remain self-motivated and enthusiastic at all times
Work as part of the team, share experience and knowledge and be willing to learn from others
Communicate on achievements and issues, offering feedback and solutions
Be supportive of the Company and its vision generally
Practise the Company ethos of “How may I help you?
Maintain exemplary conduct at all times
Desired candidate should have;
Essential Skills
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft.Net framework 3.5, ASP.Net, JQuery, JQuery Mobile Visual Studio
2010, C#, MVC, SQL Server 2008, AJAX, HTML 5CSS, and Javascript.
Be highly proficient in using in-house IT and telephone systems
Be highly efficient in using Microsoft Office and any other relevant applications
Ability to work with minimal supervision to tight deadlines and within regulatory rules and
regulations
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
A willingness to question the tradition to find a better way
A genuine commitment to service delivery
Note : successful candidate will have to travel to the UK at times throughout their employment and
would be required to spend the first 3 to 4 weeks of employment in the UK to complete induction..
