Key Accountabilities
Design, develop and test middle tier applications for Citybond Holdings Websites
Design, develop and test Web services using WCF
Responsible for project management of Desktop Application called Case Management
Liaise with the Development Manager and Winforms Developer for continuous and reliable testing of
Code.
Evaluate and test new technologies and server platforms
Participate in unit testing and use TDD.
Continually look for ways to improve the functionalities of the Company’s Windows applications
Keep abreast of changes, trends and initiatives within the IT industry
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Company’s products and services
On an ongoing basis, comply with the rules, requirements and principles of the Financial Services
and Markets Act relating to general insurance which are relevant to the department and role
Work as part of the team, share experience and knowledge and be willing to learn from others
Communicate on achievements and issues, offering feedback and solutions
Be supportive of the Company and its vision generally
Practise the Company ethos of “How may I help you?”
Maintain exemplary conduct at all times
Desired candidate should have,
Be highly proficient in using in-house IT and telephone systems
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft.Net framework 3.5, ASP.Net, Visual Studio 2008, C#, SQL Server
2005, middle tier experience using WCF or Web services
Knowledge of Test Frameworks for TDD.
Be highly efficient in using Microsoft Office and any other relevant applications
Ability to work with minimal supervision to tight deadlines and within regulatory rules and
regulations
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills
A willingness to question the tradition to find a better way
NOTE : candidate to travel to the UK at times throughout their employment and they would be
required tospend the first 3 to 4 weeks of employment in the UK to complete induction .. Additional
