Job Description:- •Provide Level I support and prompt resolution of Production issues. •Perform system monitoring, backups and restores, proactive database maintenance, database tuning and application of software patches. •Provide technical assistance and leadership to developers and DBAs in SQL statement creation and optimization. •Maintain and troubleshoot T-SQL, DTSSSIS packages and Functions and other SQL language related activities. •Also maintain an Oracle database supporting an application. •Develop database specifications, documentation. •Provide support for database centric projects and the database aspect of larger projects. •Responsible for assisting with software installations and upgrades. •Proactively research and recommend database technology improvements. •Lead database centric projects and the database aspect of larger projects. •Provide technical assistance and leadership to developers and DBAs in SQL statement creation and optimization. Desire candidate should Have :- Skills :- •A minimum of 5 years of database 24x7 support experience with in-depth experience supporting of large enterprise-wide high availability databases and data warehouses. •A minimum of 5 years of combined experience with SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008. •Some Oracle experience highly desired •Identify and resolve data related problems.DTSSSIS development and troubleshooting. •Database and SQL statement tuning for large databases (1TB+). •Database design both logical and physical. •Experience with SQL Server clustering and replication.System upgrades, capacity estimation. •Experience working in a heterogeneous database environment •Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, defect tracking and release management. •Industry experience in retail or multi-level marketing. 1)Total work exprience 5 to 10 years Education Qualification:- 1)B.E.
