We are looking for a Technology Analyst for our IT Infrastructure team.
Job Description:
Responsible for Implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration, designing and deployment of Computing and storage Platform components.
Responsible includes maintenance and management of Servers (Wintel / Linux etc), Virtualised environment (with VM Ware), storage (Netapp, Dell), Backup Management Software amongst others
Responsible for managing the uptime of the services and track and adhere to the SLA requirements.
Liaise with vendor representatives for technical infrastructure implementation
Provide technology assessments and recommendations in support of Automation and Technology initiatives
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline preferably B.E / BTech in any discipline
Technical Qualifications:
MCTS in Windows 2008 Server administrator is essential
Certification in MCSE, VMware is preferable
Work Experience:
2 - 3 years
Desired Candidate Profile:
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory, Group Policy creation and deployment, DNS, DHCP
Sound Knowledge of Wintel platform deployment
Should have worked on Virtualized environment of VM Ware
Should have managed monitoring tools like Nagios, Solar Winds, Zenoss etc
Knowledge of working with standard ticketing systems like HPSM, CA Unicenter, IBM Tivoli.
Knowledge of Patch Management using WSUS Should have implemented features like Quota Management using FSRM, VERITAS Storage Exec etc
Good communication skills and team player
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Learn and update skills and knowledge regularly
Work Schedule:Ability to work flexible work shifts suiting a 24 x 7 operational scenario
